Anna Anise is a warm summer breeze of feel-good folk, captivating audiences with her lyrical storytelling and glorious melodies. Her passion for building community is evident in her infectious energy onstage and ability to bring a whole room together with a hooky chorus.

Anna fell in love with folk music growing up in Cornwall, where she picked up a guitar aged 11. After honing her craft across festivals and venues, and then studying music in Bristol, Anna has securely made her mark in the grassroots folk scene in the South West. She regularly collaborates with other emerging artists, working on a variety of songwriting and folk song projects.

Anna’s new EP Awakening showcases her passion for folk music, as she folds her own effervescent narratives and full bodied guitar tunings around the traditional tunes that inspire her writing.

You can find her touring the country in her beloved campervan, or down in Cornwall exploring the histories of her home county from which she is writing her next body of work.
